Now that we are fully into fall, I’ve been really getting the urge to make some delicious autumn treats. I wanted to start off with something super easy that I could whip up quickly on a week night. So, I decided to make this yummy butterscotch and vanilla marbled bark. If you want to make some for yourself, here’s what you’ll need:
- White Chocolate Morsels (12oz)
- Butterscotch Morsels (12oz)
- Finely Chopped Almonds
- Gold Sugar Sprinkles
- Metal Cookie Cutters
Start by lining a large cookie sheet with foil then lightly spray it with cooking spray. In two microwave safe bowls, melt the white morsels and butterscotch morsels. I microwaved them for 45 seconds to start, then 15 second intervals, stirring after each until smooth. Next, you will need to spread the white chocolate over the foiled cookie sheet getting it pretty thin and even as possible. Then swirl in the melted butterscotch in small spoonfuls at a time. Immediately sprinkle the finely chopped almonds and gold sprinkles over the top.
To get the the bark into shapes, you will need to press them into the bark before it fully melts. That way it will break at the lines you’ve created. Even after doing this, you’ll probably still have some loose broken pieces that don’t come out as shapes. That’s just the nature of a chocolate bark. But you can always serve the prettiest shaped pieces on top 😉 #realtalk
I personally like this bark a lot. It IS pretty sweet, but I kind of like that because it keeps me from eating too much! Yeah! I also love the little crunch, texture difference from the almonds and sprinkles. Let me know what you think if you try this one at home!
